Letter From the Sellers
Dear Potential Buyers,
My wife and I moved into 1513 N 100th St. in 2015. It was our first home together, and alongnwith all of the other emotions that come with purchasing your first house, we were beyond excited for one thing in particular - the yard! Coming from downtown Seattle we dreamt of having a large yard with privacy, gardening space, and room for fetch with our active puppy. How lucky were we to hit the jackpot! The yard quickly became our pride and joy; our personal park-like setting for drinking coffee in the morning and hosting friends and family for BBQs on the weekends. We enjoyed countless hours amongst the mature landscaping, growing our little vegetable garden, and basking in the sun with our two- and four-legged loved ones. With so much space, the possibilities are endless.
We’ve always appreciated the interior of the house too. Each unit of the duplex has an open kitchen and living room space, large windows, and a sensible layout. The laundry room and garage offer plenty of storage room, and the two off-street parking spots help everyone feel like they have their own space. With recently completed kitchen and bathroom remodels, a fresh paint job and new roof, the house has never looked better.
And when you’re ready to get away from the house you are never short on options. Ten minute bike rides to Green Lake were a favorite of ours. On other days we’d pack up the paddle boards and head to Matthews Beach. Hikes through Carkeek Park rival those near Snoqualmie without the drive. If the weather is not in your favor, the newly renovated movie theater two blocks away is an instant date night, and the cozy bar and restaurant scene in the Greenwood/Phinney Ridge corridor never disappoints. The ability to maintain an active lifestyle felt more attainable to us than ever, and that was before the Northgate Light Rail Station opened! With the station now open and a short 10 minute walk from the house, all of the city’s amenities like catching a game in SODO, enjoying a concert in Capitol Hill, or even making your way to Seatac Airport for out-of-town vacations, are an easy train ride away.
With so many wonderful memories, friendly neighbors, and having become accustomed to our peaceful oasis in the heart of Seattle, it has been a bittersweet decision to leave. We look forward to the next generation of residents adding to the history of “1513/1511”.

Sincerely,

Art and Erika
