When we bought our first home in 2017, we had no idea how much we’d come to love it. We were moving from downtown Seattle and were looking forward to more space after spending several years in small apartments in the city. Little did we know we’d later spend much more time in our home than we ever expected – we felt very grateful to have excellent space with three bedrooms as we transitioned to living and working from our home in 2020!
One of the best features of our home is the rooftop deck. Having a private outdoor space with a view of the Sound and plenty of space to host friends and family has been a joy and the built-in natural gas hookup makes grilling on the deck a breeze! We hope you’ll get the chance to enjoy beautiful Seattle summers there, too.
You will love spending time in the North Delridge neighborhood. Steps from our home is a large playfield packed with activities from playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, skate park, and plenty of green space, as well as a golf course just blocks away. We loved walking north to neighborhood spots like Ounces and Skylark for food, drinks, and great atmosphere. A quick drive takes you to everything West Seattle has to offer, from the bustling Alaska and Admiral Junctions, to scenic Alki. If you’re looking to head into the city, you’re moving at just the right time for the West Seattle Bridge to re-open this month, making the trip downtown a quick 10 to 15 minute ride! We’re close to plenty of bus routes and an easy ride from the water taxi as well – tough to find a more convenient location!
