Burke-Gilman trail:
The Burke-Gilman trail is a 27-mile multi-use trail that begins in Ballard and ends in Bothell but connects to other trails going as far as Issaquah - Brian used to bike to the Woodinville wineries from Montlake on these trails! While Matthews Beach is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, the Burke-Gilman trail ties you through Seattle and beyond! Bike over to Fremont, or east to Blythe Park. This trail will be your connection to everything.
Meadowbrook Pond:
Located between NE 105th St and NE 110th St, Meadowbrook pond combines wetland, wildlife habitat, and open space. Take a stroll from any of the surrounding access points and walk along the footbridges that zigzag through the pond. You might even see some of the local birds and beavers!
